The Lord Mayor’s Show is an 800 year old English tradition that represents the rite of passage for the newly elected Mayor who proceeds through the streets of London to the Royal Courts of Justice to pledge allegiance to the Crown. The procession has been celebrated since 1215 and has lasted through such times as the plague and the Blitz.
It is a truly spectacular event and attracts many international visitors.
