We are specifically looking for videos that show the life and atmosphere of what goes on and this is why we want your films from around the world for our websites. High quality professionally made films take our interest and we look for videos of quality in content alongside the quality of how it was filmed and edited. The quality we wish to aim for is that of mainstream television, that does mean that not all videos will be accepted.
Each video will be screened for content, quality and suitability. This does mean that your video will take some time to process and it may not reach the stage of being uploaded to the website if it does not meet the stringent requirements.
Videos that are submitted can be SD or HD, one and a half to four minutes long, preferably 16:9 and we require that it is a .AVI or .MOV file with as less compression as possible. To submit your video, please download, print and complete the Terms and Conditions and Submission Proforma and return to us with your video to: Penkat, BTex Ltd., PO Box 7442, Old Wolverton, Milton Keynes, MK12 5WJ, UK.
If you have edited the video yourself using music, you must declare on the Submission Form, that the music is royalty free, or that it is an original piece of music, preferably from a non-member of PRS or any music organisation.
You will need to geo-reference your video (which means locating it to the place where it was filmed or by supplying us the Latitude and longitude co-ordinates).
Please be aware that all footage goes through a stringent screening process for suitability and quality. This means that
For organisations and individuals that deal with broadcast formats we can accept footage in the following PAL & NTSC formats.
