Edinburgh Military Tattoo |

The Edinburgh Military Tattoo originally started as part of the Edinburgh International Festival but soon expanded to be an event of its own. In the beginning there were only eight items in the programme but this soon grew to include forty other countries taking part.
The Edinburgh Military Tattoo features marching bands and displays of talent from many different groups ranging from the marching of troops, to fan dancing, and don’t forget about the traditional bagpipes!
Each year there are roughly 200,000 audience members and the show delivers without question, whatever the weather!
The 2009 Edinburgh Tattoo will take place from 7th - 29th August 2009.
